Comprehensive BMS Capabilities

Our BMS services begin with a thorough front-end engineering gap analysis. This process references essential industry standards like NFPA 85, NFPA 86, NFPA 87, API 538, API 556, and IEC 61511, alongside any client-specific requirements. Based on this analysis, we specify critical instruments such as controllers, flame detectors, igniters, pressure transmitters, and valves. We cover the entire project lifecycle—from SIS/SRS documentation and design to system integration, testing, and ongoing support.

What Sets Mangan SIS Apart

Mangan SIS stands out due to our in-depth expertise in BMS capabilities. We create detailed control narratives from P&IDs or even reverse-engineer existing systems. Our solutions ensure smooth operations during startup and shutdown, manage emergency trips, and handle relight and purge sequences seamlessly. By combining decades of hands-on experience in engineering, operations, and maintenance, we deliver customized, reliable capabilities for every client.

Key BMS Capabilities

Requirements Assessment & Safety Function Allocation

We conduct detailed assessments based on inputs fromProcess Hazard Analyses (PHA), Layer of Protection Analyses (LOPA), Owner Corporate Standards and Requirements. These assessments guide the development of necessary safety measures, ensuring compliance with standards such as NFPA 85, NFPA 86, NFPA 87, and API RP 538 & 556.

Safety, Functional & Equipment Specifications

Our team develops Safety Requirements Specifications (SRS) that align with ISA/IEC 61511 or a BMS Functional Requirements Specification to define the system, performance, safety, operational, environmental, testing and validation requirements to ensure compliance and safe operations of the assocaited fired equipment. These specifications cover both safety and auxiliary functions, ensuring the correct selection of power systems, communications, and input/output interfaces.

Design, Engineering, Procurement and Integration

We offer full engineering services, including developing safety plans, SIS application design, panel design, and electrical design for system components, as well as SIL Availability & Reliability calculations per the selected manufactures reliability data. Mangan will then integrate and configure and perform a FAT per the design specifications at our integartion facility.

BMS Implementation

Testing & Commissioning

Our services include rigorous Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and functional testing for SIS/BMS interlock systems. We perform Functional Safety Assessments (FSA) throughout the project as specified by IEC 61511.

Operations & Maintenance Support

Mangan provides ongoing support, helping resolve system trips and failures, updating operating manuals, and developing proof test procedures. Our team assists with BMS testing to maintain compliance and ensure smooth system operation through the lifecycle of the asset.
